S5C12 - Which Challenge Won?

Welcome back everyone to the following up of the Monday post. Because of the results of the poll we held over the week, the contestants will now have to face the challenge that has brought up extreme negativity.

However, I think that some of the finalists have warmed up to it, which I see as a very positive change from the usual.

The point of this post right here is to explain to you the basic rundown of the challenge that we will be having tomorrow. I am hoping that all the contestants will be able to see this and make it to the challenge.

HOW TO WIN THIS CHALLENGE

In case you haven't been following the millions of game ban challenges we've held over the months, then here is an explanation of how one works:

We have the contestants do a certain number of rounds of the game. Whoever gets the highest time (like golf, the lower the better) gets kicked out of the challenge for the time being. The contestant who lasts the longest gets immunity and glory.

HOW TICKETS WILL BE GIVEN OUT

THE TIMES AND DATES

The results for this challenge will be revealed on March 10th (11th in Australia), 2012.

The times will be:
4 PM - Pacific
5 PM - Mountain
6 PM - Central
7 PM - Eastern
11 AM - Melbourne, Australia

MAKE SURE TO LET US KNOW IF THIS TIME WILL WORK FOR YOU!

That's all for now. I'll see you in the Final 3!

S5C11 - Leaving Dock

Another week, another elimination. The sandy beach that could clearly be viewed from the cruise ship could not cheer up the spirits of the contestants who were inside feeling remorse. Peng sadly stood at the edge of the dock. You could easily see the worry in his eyes. The beginning of the season went by so slow...and now it seemed like all those friendly faces he saw were just...gone.

He was beginning friendships that didn't last. Sure, there was always after the cruise, but it was like he was at fault for all these people who came from different backgrounds losing their chance at glory. They all had some sort of sincerity, even if small, towards the opportunity of a win. It was a rare chance, and now there were only five people who had a 20% chance of having that smile on their face that symbolized the happiness of their win.

At least the chances were higher than earlier...

"Setting sail in half an hour, Peng," the captain announced to the host. Penguin nodded as he walked over to the mess hall to get a quick bite before talking about the eleventh challenge of the season. He needed some time to handle the fact that all of this time put into this season by the hard work and cooperation of his friends was coming to an end.

Spoil's elimination left the cast mates in a state of shock and sadness. This was worsened by the fact that they could now physically contemplate their mortality, elimination-wise. In the beginning, you could lose a challenge and have some worry about being kicked out, but it wasn't as bad as this. There were higher stakes, and every move in a challenge would affect them.

It seemed like before they signed up for this, their friendly competitors were just friendly competitors, but now, as much as they didn't want to admit it, it was becoming a battle to show that they really wanted this. Once the teams were gone, it became a gender free-for-all. Alliances were now stronger thanks to the chances to know each other, and every ounce of their blood had to be put into the challenges in order to stay in for one more week...and maybe, if lucky, another week, and so on...

Throughout all this hardships, fun was the main mission of all of the cast mates. They couldn't let rivalries and tactics destroy friendships outside of the season. Games, as serious as they have made themselves to be, cannot get rid of relationships that could last a lifetime, or even more.

-------------------------------

Wii has shown exceptional strength in challenges, giving his all every week. Even though he's been known to experience a couple strikes, he has been known for his determination to take the win. Is there a chance he can take the victory? His answer is "yer".

Bumble went into this season as a veteran of the infamous Club Penguin Neighborhood game show, and she came out in second. Now, she's on her way to the prize and the glory. Can she take the victory in order to escape the ghetto?

Lewis is making an amazing comeback this season. In the beginning, he was known for almost always getting second place, and he experienced some deadline difficulties along the way. After his victory that guaranteed him a permanent spot in the Hall of Fame, will he be able to keep his streak going?

Andre has made a name for himself as a Club Penguin Neighborhood contestant who, at first, defended Frosty, but then became one of his biggest foes. Even though he's had to leave some challenges early this season, he has always tried hard to gain the title of victorious. Will he manage to take the win, or will he end up like last time: eliminated?

Andy is one of the craziest contestants in the Final 5, but he's not there just to mess around. He gained an early lead and kept a steady amount of tickets rolling, sometimes striking gold. Will his creativeness and positive attitude help take him all the way to the end?

-------------------------------

"Hey, everyone," Peng stated, walking into the mess hall, where the finalists were hanging out and talking about strategies and tactics. "Mat and I wanted to do a little something for the sake of memories. Follow me out to the dock!"

In about five minutes, everyone was looking around, full of curiosity and paranoia over what could be coming.

Yes, that's right. Didn't see that coming, did you?

This time around, the twist isn't about a decision based around elimination. However, it's something that still may come as a shock for the contestants: we are taking away the Souvenir Shop. Not because we don't like it (Sand did an outstanding job on it!). It's just that as the game draws closer to an end, we want victories to be based on how you perform at challenges and the actual eliminations themselves, rather than someone using an immunity souvenir at, for example, a Final 3 challenge, which would basically mean that the final 2 is guaranteed the two people with immunity.

As far as tickets goes, we will refund anyone who has possession of a souvenir.

"Ok, everyone, now that you are aware of the tickets situation," Mat declared, looking over the contestants who were some of the most hardcore players of the entire season. He pulled out his brand new camera. "We wanted to take a quick picture...get in formation over at the edge."

Mat looked at the developed photo with a big smile on his face. "I can't wait to reflect back on this and remember the good times I had..."

The captain called out to the competitors and hosts. "Let's go, let's go! I don't want to reach Italy late..."

Everyone cheered as they raced back onto the ship, filled with anticipation for what was coming up. There was sadness that came with such a high position, but it came with perks.

-------------------------------

Hey, everyone, Peng here. Hopefully you enjoyed the little story I put together for you. Now, let's get down to business. This week, we will be playing a very fun drawing game:

HOW TO PLAY

This game takes place on a site called OMGPOP. Therefore, you can get to the game through http://www.omgpop.com/. On challenge day, I will give the contestants access to a private game.
"Draw My Thing" is kind of like charades, but instead of acting out something with your body, you draw a picture based on the word you receive. Nobody else knows what your word is, so you have a short amount of time to make a photo. You will gain or lose points depending on if you guess the word or not.

For example, if you get the word "elephant", you would draw an elephant, and whoever types the word in the chat would gain points, along with the artist!

HOW TO WIN

After 1 game, whoever has the most points will take the win. If there is a tie, we will have a second game, and whoever gets the most points that game out of the people who tie will get the immunity for the week.

TICKETS

TIMES AND DATES

The results for this challenge will be revealed on March 3rd (4th in Australia), 2012.

The times will be:
4 PM - Pacific
5 PM - Mountain
6 PM - Central
7 PM - Eastern
11 AM - Melbourne, Australia

MAKE SURE TO LET US KNOW IF THIS TIME WILL WORK FOR YOU!

That's all for now. March will be Finale Month...

S5C10 - Who Let the Ghosts Out?

An eery moaning spread across the cruise ship on the night of the challenge. They docked in Ireland at one of the darkest hours of the night...three. Everyone was still in bed except for Lewis. He couldn't sleep because of Andy's amazingly loud snoring. He stood at the edge of the deck, staring out into the sea.

Suddenly, he felt like something was touching his shoulder... but there was nothing behind him. "Must have been my imagination," he shrugged.

Bumble walked out in a bathrobe and looked over at him. "What are you still doing up?"

"Can't sleep...hey, did you see that?" questioned Lewis.

"See what?"

Lew looked over at the forest near the dock. He saw a white figure fly by very fast before turning invisible.

"Do you believe in ghosts?"

"Where did that come from?'' Bumble looked puzzled.

"Come over here...I saw something over there..."

Lewis motioned for Bumble to come over, and then he pointed his flipper over at the strange part of the forest. "I'm gonna head over there...I may need backup. Alert the others...we need to investigate."

Bumble hesitated before rushing over to the dorms. Lewis sprinted over the ledge of the cruise ship and swam to the forest.

S5C9 - Poetry Slam

(Quick Note: I've decided to start having weekly polls about random things. Be sure to give us your opinion!)

Valentine's Day love filled the air as the contestants woke up and made their way down to the cafeteria to get some breakfast. There were seven of them left, so they wanted their time together to last longer.

Every week from now on was like a week for them to get to know each other more, to realize who they want to take with them farther, and who smelled like crap in the morning, whom they all agreed was all of them, even with fancy perfumes.

At the cafeteria, Penguin874 was on the stage, going over some paperwork with Mat. He looked over and saw everyone walk in, and he waddled over as fast as he could.

"Hey, everybody! This week, we're going to have all of you read your stories and poems as if we're having a poetry slam. But, first, let's have you guys get some lunch. Plus, if you want to dress like a hipster, I'll leave time for that afterwards."

Everyone smiled at each other, and once they nodded, they rushed to the front of the line. Today's menu consisted of Andre's Mom's hair lasagna and macaroni without the cheese. It was something they couldn't afford to miss.

------------------

Hey, everybody! This week, the post is mainly just the story and the results. Usually when we have a post that has the results of stories and poems, we just paste the whole thing into the post.

This time, we decided to change things up.

I've spent the last four days working on a website that has all seven stories/poems on it. In every story and poem, there is a book with a unique cover. Inside, there are pictures that match the story you are reading!

In order to stop skimmers from being successful, I will put the results of the challenge on the front page of the link you can check out here. Click on the "RESULTS" button to obviously see the results.

For the people who skim to the bottom of the site instead of reading the post, here's a picture of someone who did not win:

I'll be sure to watch chat to see who says "OMG DRAKE WON" or something like that when the post is released. (Just a test, I won't be doing this every week).

After you're done viewing the results, please send your vote. Remember, you can only vote for whoever did not win.

Sorry for the wordy post, but I think the story site makes up for it.

The elimination post will be out MONDAY, because Mat cannot be on until that day. I will publish the Monday post on Tuesday.

S5C8 - CODEBAN!

(Souvenir Shop will be open from February 6th to the 10th)

Hey everybody, Peng here once again for a Monday post explaining how this week's challenge is going to work. Last week, we had a lot of negative feelings towards the games Snakeban and Codeban. Since we love you guys so much, we decided to go with the popular decision...

We will be having Codeban this week!

HOW TO PLAY CODEBAN
Codeban, if you don't know, is a game that involves guessing, but investigative guessing. You have to pick a certain order of smileys, and if you keep getting the order right, you move onto the next set of smileys. In order to make sure you are confused, here is a scientific explanation of potassium: The last two species, especially the superoxide, are rare and are formed only in reaction with very electropositive metals; these species contain oxygen—oxygen bonds. All potassium—oxygen binary compounds are known to react with water violently, forming potassium hydroxide. This compound is a very strong alkali, and 1.21 kg of it can dissolve as much as a liter of water.

TICKETS
Ok, so now that you completely understand how Codeban works, here are the tickets:

CHALLENGE DATE AND TIMES
This week's challenge will take place some point this month, I haven't decided yet.

I don't know what time it will be, just be on chat some point during the month ok?

WELP THAT'S THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE, HOPE YOU ENJOY!

Don't comment your suggestions or questions, we don't need them.

-Penguin874 and Matbolabc

HOW TO WIN THIS CHALLENGE!

On challenge day, we will get all the contestants on the CPSkoolForever chat and tell them the server. Once we all log in, we will go to Master Wu Lee and do the game. We will keep doing games until the same person wins twice.

S5C7 - Finally Getting Somewhere!

NEW POLL ON THE RIGHT!

The sound of a horn awoke the contestants, causing them to run to the elevator like usual and check out the scene. On the main deck, the movers were able to be seen inland driving away with their possessions. Penguin874 and Matbolabc walked towards the group, holding paperwork and clipboards.

"Nice to see you all again...today, we are finally leaving the docks of Japan!"

Everyone cheered with extreme joy. Even though Japan was a fun country to be at, they really wished they could just leave and head out. There's a humongous world out there, filled with adventure and excitement.

"Now, because it's early in the morning, we should be able to get to our next country by around late afternoon. Who wants to watch some movies? I've rented a few of them from the market."

After a couple hours passed, the contestants landed to the homeland of the Soviet Union. Just like the Space Race in Russia, the contestants were going to compete for whoever could complete the challenge in the shortest amount of time. If they didn't, one of them would be out one by one as the rounds went by.

---------------------

Hey, everybody! Here are the results of how the challenge went:

ROUND 1
Lew - 5 seconds
Bumble - 4 seconds
Wii - 4 seconds
Andre - 5 seconds
Andy - 7 seconds
Lion - 9 seconds
Powder - 9 seconds
Drake - 28 seconds

ROUND 2
Lew - 4 seconds
Andre - 6 seconds
Wii - 7 seconds
Lion - 8 seconds
Powder - 10 seconds
Andy - 11 seconds
Bumble - 11 seconds
Andre had to go, so no one was eliminated this round.

ROUND 3
Andy - 6 seconds
Bumble - 10 seconds
Wii - 10 seconds
Lew - 12 seconds
Lion - 15 seconds
Powder - 22 seconds

ROUND 4
Lew - 19 seconds
Bumble - 33 seconds
Andy - 37 seconds
Wii - 38 seconds
Lion - 52 seconds

ROUND 5
Lew - 46 seconds
Wii - 49 seconds
Bumble - 52 seconds
Andy - 52 seconds

ROUND 5.5 (REMATCH)
Andy - 25 seconds
Bumble - 32 seconds

ROUND 6
Lew - 56 seconds
Wii - 62 seconds
Andy - 81 seconds

ROUND 7
This round, whoever finished first would be the winner because of how long the ban was.
In this case, Wii finished first.

---------------------

TL;DR:

  • Wii earns 5 tickets (4 for winning, 1 for participating).
  • Bumble, Andre, Drake, Lion, Powder, Wii, Lew, and Andy all have earned 1 ticket.
  • Spoil has 1 strike for leaving right before the challenge.
Since we are now in a merge, everyone in the season has the right to vote for anyone but Wii, since he has immunity this week. Send your votes ASAP.

Thanks for reading the post, and I'll see you on Monday with a new challenge post!

S5C7 - To Infinity...AND BEYOND!

(Souvenir Shop will be open from Jan. 29 - Feb.3rd)

Wii threw a bottle of soda to Lew as he floated in the zero gravity room. Bumble flew in and did a back flip, which almost caused her to hit Spoil in the face. Lion and Powder looked over at the boys and laughed when they saw Andy spill his drink, which caused it to float as if it were gas. Drake started to drink it like it were water coming from a water fountain, and Andre pushed him out of the way to make him stop.

Peng stared outside and gazed at the Earth. They were a few miles from their home planet in a spaceship. It was amazing to get off the cruise and reflect on accomplishments made over the years. He looked over at Mat, who was trying to tell him something. It sounded like beeps.

Why was he beeping?

Suddenly, Peng woke up to the sound of his buzzing alarm clock. He made it shut up with the slam of his flipper. It was the start of another day, another challenge...

Downstairs, Mat was rounding up all the contestants in order to start a speech.

"Welcome, everyone! It's nice to see you all in the same place to learn some exciting news about this week...it may not be a surprise for most of you, but we're going to have the...

"

Everyone cheered and looked at each other. Instead of being separated by gender, they could have alliances   no matter what they were born as. After the excitement in the room was transformed into relaxation, Mat continued.

"You will keep your ticket amount, whatever it was before the Merge, and now, the challenges are more high stakes. A boy can vote for a boy, and vice versa..."

The meeting finished, with curiosity and anxiety spread all over like the spilled soda in zero gravity.

------------------------

How this challenge will work:
This week's challenge will be just like last week, except it will be played with Spaceban. If you don't remember: We will be having a certain amount of rounds based on how many people show up. As we get to higher rounds, the hour count will rise until we get to the final 2. Whoever gets the lowest number every round will be kicked out of the challenge. When we get to the final 2, whoever gets the lowest time wins.

How many tickets will be given out:

There is a new souvenir! It is a panda bear that will let you learn the challenge early!

The times and dates:
The challenge date is Saturday, February 4th (3rd in Australia), 2012.

This challenge times are:
4 PM - Pacific
5 PM - Mountain
6 PM - Central
7 PM - Eastern
11 AM - Melbourne
