S5C12 - WHICH WIRE?

"GET ME THE WIRE CUTTER!"

"I CAN'T MAKE IT BACK IN TIME...WE'VE ONLY GOT TWO MINUTES!"

"THE CARGO DOOR'S STUCK! WE CAN'T EVEN GET OU---"

(20 minutes earlier)

The finalists went about their normal, everyday activities. Wake up, get something to eat, watch the TV, go on the computer, all the usual. No one suspected that there was something completely wrong that day. They didn't know that had they made one mistake, there would be no more second chances.

Bumble poured herself a box of Frostyflakes while Wii sat on the couch watching "Shark-o-Mania", which was all the TV played for some reason. Mat sat alongside him, a puddle of urine on the ground and a bottle of milk to keep him from going insane from fear.

Suddenly, Penguin874 walked into the room with complete fear on his face.

"What's wrong, dude?" Lew asked, turning away from his "Little Pony" marathon.

"...There's a problem, everyone," Peng replied, taking a seat, making sure to dodge Mat's puddle. "Apparently, when we were in Italy, a crazed fan sneaked onto the ship and placed an improvised explosive. It's going to go off in...21 minutes."

"Wow...it would be terrible storytelling if this was all a challenge results post that was written by in a third person omniscient point of view that started off 20 minutes from now and then flashed back to now," Andre said.

Andre was taken out of the room by security guards and did not participate in the challenge.

"Ok...how about this? We could have a challenge where you three have to find the bomb and defuse it! If you do, I'll put you in the Final 3..."

Bumble, Lew, and Wii looked at each other and nodded.

"NOW, WADDLE ON!"

The contestants looked around the cruise ship, filled with anxiety. After 15 minutes, they were about to give up hope...until Wii heard a ticking noise...

"The bomb is in the cargo!"

"Good job, Wii...I'll give you props for finding the bomb, but we need to actually DEFUSE IT!" Mat yelled.

Bumble ran into the door, trying to break it down. It broke off the hinges immediately and flew about 30 feet  away. "Wow...that messed up my nail polish." She rolled her eyes and lead the way inside.

"If I were a possible terrorist who wanted to blow up a cruise ship, where would I put the bomb..." Lew wondered. "OH! I'd hide it in that suitcase over there..."

Lew walked over to the suitcase he indicated above, and sure enough, it was inside.

"Ok...is it time for us to say exactly what was said at the beginning of the post?"

"Yep."

"GET ME THE WIRE CUTTER!"

"I CAN'T MAKE IT BACK IN TIME...WE'VE ONLY GOT TWO MINUTES!"

"THE CARGO DOOR'S STUCK! WE CAN'T EVEN GET OU---"

"You're the one who broke the cargo door open, Bumble..."

"Oh. Yeah. Right."

Lew opened his mouth and bit the blue wire with his tooth. The bomb ticked all the way to 2 seconds...and stopped.

"Ok, Lew, since you saved our lives, you once again win a challenge in the finals. You've won every single one since you got into the Final 5."

Everyone jumped in the air filled with happiness. They picked Lew up and used him as means of opening the cargo door.

------------------

TL;DR:
  • Lew has won 5 tickets for participating and winning!
  • Bumble and Wii have earned 1 ticket for participating.
  • Andre has earned his second strike of the season.
BE SURE TO LEAVE YOUR VOTE FOR EITHER BUMBLE, WII, OR ANDRE!
------------------

Well, everyone, we are at a critical point in the season. Next week will be one of the most important challenges of the season.

We are willing to reschedule if a contestant cannot make it.

Hope your skills will be honed enough to win the challenge!

Sorry I once again could not make it...practices lately have been brutal. We're really getting down to the wire in the musical, as well as in this competition. I feel like my vote this week is obvious...so I'll come right out and say it.

Wii.
